After drying out blemishes, skin may appear satisfactory for a few weeks; but over-drying can cause oil glands to compensate by working harder, resulting in clogged pores and more "breakouts" 3 to 4 weeks later. This often causes the user to resort back to drying products, which are causing the problem. What's more, treating adult acne harshly can create problems like redness or broken capillaries.

JEVELLE'S APPROACH ...

We believe in a more gentle, "normalizing" approach. We advocate anti-bacterial cleansing with Camphor Facial Cleanser (# S153). (This product should be used instead of medicated soaps others urge. For those with acne prone skin, deep pore cleansing is critical and it's vital to maintain an acid balance; the Camphor Facial Cleanser (#S153) & Camphor Tonic (#S154) are necessary to accomplish this.

Supplementary Cleansing ...
EXFOLIATION ... so important!

The importance of proper exfoliation for blemishes cannot be overstated or stressed more strongly. The significance of removing sufficient dead, hardened skin cells to aid oil flow to the surface; and thus avoid blockage of pores.
Our most important cleansing supplement in the blemish program is our Renewed Radiance Exfoliant (#218). It's gentle enough for the most sensitive skins. And besides its enzyme action in digesting dead cells, it aids cell metabolism. This should be used twice a week to remove dead skin cells, allowing the pores to remain clear.

Day & Night Treatment...

IN THE MORNING, It's important to balance your oily condition, with Jevelle's Oily Skin Moisturizing Gel (#S209). with Glycolic Acid 5% that helps clear clogged pores and helps keep them clear. Fights excess oil and blemishes, improves skin's texture and appearance when used on a daily program.

To hide - as well as - treat the blemishes, our Medicated Cover Up Cream (#S722). It is a truly remarkable acne fighting product (in a neutral shade) that can help skin look flawless. Those with darker skin tones can apply your regular shade of sheer liquid foundation over this cream.

AT NIGHT, after cleansing with the Camphor Facial Cleanser and after you've applied the Camphor Tonic, use Oily Skin Night Cream (#S315) alternating with Beta Hydroxy Acid Cream (#S308). This will help to maintain a clear complextion.

MASKS: very much a part of this program. Pick two nights each week; use Clearing Mask (#S422) one night, followed by Problem Skin Mask (#S449) the following night. These two treatments will add immeasurable success to your program.
